Support Our Replanting Programme
In the lush, vibrant landscapes of Charlotteville, Tobago, an extraordinary transformation is underway. Our Cocoa Rehabilitation Program is breathing new life into 1,000 acres of dormant land, fostering sustainable agriculture, boosting local economies, and significantly reducing carbon emissions.
Around the world, unsustainable cocoa cultivation practices have led to alarming rates of deforestation and habitat destruction. This has resulted in the loss of vital ecosystems and threatened countless species with extinction. The need for sustainable change in cocoa production has never been more urgent.
Tobago, once renowned for its premium cocoa production, is reclaiming its heritage with this ambitious initiative. By planting cocoa trees across extensive tracts of previously unused land, we are not only reviving a vital industry but also promoting environmental stewardship. This project embodies a commitment to sustainable development, creating entrepreneurial opportunities, and driving economic growth for rural communities.
Join us on this journey as we cultivate the future of cocoa, from bean to bar, while preserving our rich cultural legacy and protecting our planet.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS
This initiative is essential for enhancing environmental safety and preserving Tobago’s cocoa culture. By converting underutilized lands into productive cocoa estates, we will boost local agricultural activities, thereby reducing the need for cocoa imports and reinforcing our regional cocoa heritage.
Planting 1,000 acres of trees in Charlotteville will help absorb excess carbon dioxide, mitigating climate change and contributing to a healthier environment. This project will not only bolster the local economy by creating jobs and increasing food security but also ensure that Tobago can grow its own cocoa, reducing dependency on international imports and sustaining our valuable cocoa culture.
